Difficult moments on live broadcast: Kılıçdaroğlu's lawyer unable to explain party statute article

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was brought to the CHP chairmanship with a decision of absolute nullity, closed the doors to calls for an extraordinary convention by citing a precautionary injunction, while deciding to refer 9 members of parliament to the disciplinary board with a request for permanent expulsion during the Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting he held last week.

Subsequently, the parliamentary group deputy chairmanship duties of Ali Mahir Başarır and Gökhan Günaydın, whose memberships were suspended, were terminated.

While the question of who the new group deputy chairman will be and how they will be determined has sparked debate, CHP's elected Chairman Özgür Özel emphasized that changes in duties within the TBMM (Grand National Assembly of Turkey) Group should be determined by the votes of the members of parliament.

A response to this statement by Özel came from Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's lawyer, Celal Çelik.

Speaking on Tv100, Çelik stated, "In accordance with the party statute, Kılıçdaroğlu can dismiss group deputy chairmen and appoint new ones."
