Ekrem İmamoğlu addresses his colleagues! 'We will write history together'

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, who has been held at Silivri Prison since March 23, has issued a statement regarding the operations targeting the İBB.

In his post on his social media account, where he stated, "Your evil mind, your incompetent management, and your lies will soon come to an end," İmamoğlu's message is as follows:

"My honorable, patriotic colleagues who have been detained, arrested, imprisoned, and whose families have been harassed; the days when we will serve the entire country together with you are near. Believe me, we will write history together! I am addressing the handful of ambitious people who are the source of this evil; we are strong and standing tall against these practices of yours, which amount to treason against our nation and our state.

We are as faithful, determined, and courageous as to drive you mad. This feeling, this faith, this determination will sweep you away. Your evil mind, your incompetent management, and your lies will soon come to an end. This country will remind you of democracy once again. As a nation; the days when we will bring abundance, prosperity, welfare, and justice to our country will begin. The Nation is Great!"
