Erdoğan attacks İmamoğlu and targets CHP's 'Keep it between us' slogan

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at a rally held in Karabük as part of local election campaign efforts.

Asking for patience from citizens once again regarding the economic situation, Erdoğan pointed to the second half of the year as the time when inflation will begin to fall.

Asking for patience from retirees and workers, Erdoğan stated, "Solving the problems experienced by our workers and retirees is our duty."

Targeting Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu in his speech, Erdoğan said, "They say 'Keep it between us, we are winning.' There is nothing to keep between us; everyone knows. If you ask, they say they did not form an alliance in the CHP and DEM cooperation. But we will see what comes out at the end of these dirty bargains."

Highlights from Erdoğan's statements are as follows:

"There are currently 46 thousand people here. Hopefully, we will celebrate the victory together in Karabük on the evening of March 31. The transformation of this city from a 13-household village to today's modern city is one of the achievements of the Republic. Karabük is one of the lifeblood of Turkish industry. We need to serve Karabük and take this city, which is the legacy of Gazi Mustafa Kemal, even further with the vision of the Century of Turkey.

Karabük is a source of pride. Every brother and sister living in this city has a right over us. We are obliged to pay them. Solving the problems experienced by our workers and retirees is our duty. We know the difficulties our country has experienced in the last 10 years. On top of all that, we experienced the February 6 earthquakes. The additional bill the earthquake brought to our economy is 104 billion dollars.

"INFLATION WILL START TO FALL IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE YEAR"

Our cities under risk, especially Istanbul, need to be prepared for earthquakes rapidly. With God's permission, we will have better opportunities after inflation, which is our biggest problem, starts to fall in the second half of the year. We will reflect these opportunities to all segments of the nation. There is no issue we cannot overcome. As long as we do not let troublemakers and merchants of discord among us.

Every election is also a historical and national test that allows us to see who is walking with whom. What happened to the 'Table of Six'? There is not a single person from them in parliament; they are all gone. They dispersed. They even rented an apartment in Ankara. They are following things from that apartment. They put the blame on 'Bay Kemal' and they are all looking after their own pleasure. All that remains of this freak alliance is a strange relationship with the table's secret partner, DEM. They are bargaining over municipal bureaucracy in many places.

CASH COUNTING FOOTAGE IN CHP: TARGETED İMAMOĞLU

Footage of stacks of money in suitcases also emerged. No one has the right to dirty Turkish politics this much or embarrass our people this much. Look at where they came from and where they are now. For this, you need a face and a structure that knows how to blush. This is not called politics. There is nothing in the name of works anyway. Is there even the slightest thing in Istanbul? Even though our nation teaches them a lesson in every election, they insist on doing the same thing.

It was on the screens yesterday. They say 'Keep it between us, we are winning.' There is nothing to keep between us; everyone knows. If you ask, they say they did not form an alliance in the CHP and DEM cooperation. But we will see what comes out at the end of these dirty bargains. Nothing will come of this DEM or those who carry water to their mill. Turkey will once again slap this truth in the face of the opposition. I believe that Karabük will also take its place in the front ranks."
