Erdoğan attacks the opposition: They had no agenda to serve the nation yesterday, and they have none today

AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan shared a post on the X platform directed at the opposition.

Recalling the election process and the subsequent agreement, Erdoğan stated, "Citizens, let alone voting for them, do not even want to hear their names or see their faces."

"THEY BLAMED THEIR PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE FOR THE DEFEAT"

Erdoğan's post is as follows:

"We are watching the recent developments in the opposition not only with embarrassment but also with sadness. Our nation is tired and fed up with the opposition's politics of backstabbing, which puts soap operas to shame. Citizens, let alone voting for them, do not even want to hear their names or see their faces.

I am saying this very clearly and plainly: Neither Turkish politics nor Turkish democracy deserves such a spectacle. Frankly, we had some hope after the election results were announced. We had hoped that perhaps they would realize their mistakes and hold themselves accountable.

'However, nothing has changed on the western front.' They pinned the entire bill for the heavy defeat in the May 14-28 elections on their presidential candidate and continued on their way with the same old routine, shamelessly.

Now they are applying the same tactic regarding the secret agreement where they distributed state ministries like inherited property. By saying 'we were unaware,' they are trying to clear themselves of the dirty bargains they were at the very center of.

If they weren't ashamed, they would even deny the 'we are winning' lie they told in front of cameras every 10 minutes on election night. But 'video is such a wonderful tool' that it doesn't give them room to maneuver. They had no agenda to serve the nation yesterday, and they have none today..."
