Erdoğan-Bahçeli summit concludes

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli arrived at the Presidential Complex to meet with President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The meeting between the two leaders began at approximately 16:25.

LAST MEETING WAS HELD ON JANUARY 9

Erdoğan and Bahçeli last met on January 9 at Bahçeli's residence in Çankaya. It was reported to the public that that meeting lasted approximately 40 minutes.

No official agenda was announced regarding today's meeting. However, according to behind-the-scenes information, the main topics of the meeting are the latest developments in Syria and the Imralı Process.

It is known that Bahçeli made harsh statements against the SDF in his latest group meeting and assessed the decree signed by Syria's interim leader Ahmed Shara as having "appropriate content."

PARLIAMENTARY COMMISSION REPORT ON THE TABLE

It is stated that the joint report expected to emerge from the commission established in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) within the scope of the Imralı Process may also be discussed during the meeting between Erdoğan and Bahçeli.

RETIREE SALARIES MAY ALSO BE DISCUSSED

Bahçeli's recent statements regarding pension salaries had also drawn attention. The MHP leader defined their position within the People's Alliance by stating, "We are an alliance partner, but not a government partner," and described pension salaries as "misery."
