Erdoğan sends a message... Are new operations on the horizon? 'The biggest radishes are still in the bag'

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at his party's Konya 8th Ordinary Provincial Congress. On Erdoğan's agenda were the CHP's red card protest and the investigation being conducted into the Beşiktaş Municipality.

President Erdoğan's statements are as follows:

"The negative situation the opposition finds itself in should not lead us to complacency. The AK Party is a political movement founded by the nation, brought to power by the nation, and one that has brought every struggle to a victorious conclusion with the support of the nation. Our current goal is to build the Century of Turkey. In this direction, we are broadening our vision and taking bold steps to solve the country's deep-rooted problems.

RED CARD REACTION

It is impossible to explain to those whose greatest vision is to show a red card and whose biggest commitment is to lower the price of rakı. To those who think that showing a red card means descending to the level of the people, I say this: One should not descend to the level of the people, but rather rise to the level of the people. We know very well the troubles and goals of those who attack us. Instead of fixing the scandals within their own parties, turning toward public officials is a sign of guilt. They still haven't been able to shake off the anger of losing the privileges they had in the Old Turkey. In today's Turkey, however, no one has the right to violate the law and the statutes.

A MESSAGE OF OPERATIONS?

The biggest radishes are still in the bag. No one, including you, has the right to disregard the law and the statutes. Even if you don't like it, the law will take its course, and you will respect it. They have become so caught up in the internal power struggle of their party that they have no eyes to see what is happening in the world. You cannot achieve any results by threatening prosecutors, shaking your finger at the judiciary, preventing courts from doing their duty, or putting the judiciary under pressure. Stop picking fights left and right; we are here. Come, let us open the black-bound ledgers before the nation and see whose face will turn red. Mr. Özel, instead of continuing to look for bandits elsewhere, should look at the people around him. Because they cannot answer the allegations in the files and the thefts committed are obvious, they are constantly kicking the ball into touch. However, they also know very well that the big secret is still in the bag. This is the reason for their panic. Within a few years, they won't be able to go out on the street, and they won't even have the face to look at the nation.

We are present throughout our entire spiritual geography, from Syria to Gaza; we are involved in events, and we stand by the oppressed and the victims."

You cannot achieve any results by threatening prosecutors, shaking your finger at the judiciary, or preventing courts from doing their duty. In today's Turkey, no one, including you, has the right to disregard, ignore, or blatantly violate the laws. Even if you don't like it, the law will take its course, and you will show respect. Mr. Özel, no one, including you, has the right to violate the laws.

I fear that within a few years, none of them will have the face to go out on the street and look at the nation. They hurled all kinds of insults at Syrian refugees. In the May 14-28 elections, they hit rock bottom in the politics of hatred.

We have seen Esenyurt and Beşiktaş; look at the state they are in. Instead of pondering the troubles, problems, and expectations of the nation, they are spending their days with empty rhetoric. Because they do not like to work. They have no conscience, nor do they have a face that knows how to blush. Now they have come out and are giving advice without feeling any embarrassment. They are trying to steal the spotlight.

Their voters, just like them, see that they cannot produce politics. We see that our citizens who vote for the CHP are sighing as they look at the state of their party and its leaders.

INFLATION MESSAGE: THE WORST IS OVER

We aim to lower inflation and prevent unbalanced increases in prices.

Starting from the second half of this year, we will begin to see the concrete effects of the decline in inflation.

As inflation falls, wage increases will become more meaningful. We ask our nation to trust us and be a little more patient.

The worst is over, only a little remains."
