Erdoğan speaks after cabinet meeting

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made statements following his party's cabinet meeting.

Here are the highlights from Erdoğan's statements:

Since our last Cabinet meeting, we have had a very busy traffic of meetings and visits in foreign policy. First, we went to Astana to attend the 24th summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. We desire to develop our cooperation with both countries in every field, from trade to tourism, from transportation to direct investments. The investment contract we signed with Chinese automaker BYD, with a total value exceeding 1 billion dollars, is the best example of our mutual will.

As I have always said, our door is wide open to any investment that will provide added value to our country's economy. As long as it is approached with a win-win understanding. As long as the investment issue is not used as a political lever. We provide all kinds of facilities required for serious investors.

"WE WENT TO BERLIN TO SUPPORT 'OUR BOYS'"
