AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan criticized Israel's attacks on Gaza while speaking at the 44th Gulf Cooperation Council Summit held in Qatar.

Erdoğan described Israel's attacks on Gaza as a "crime against humanity" and stated that these crimes must not go unpunished. Erdoğan remarked, "The Netanyahu administration is endangering the security and future of our entire region for the sake of extending its own political life."

Erdoğan also emphasized that the atrocities in Gaza must not be allowed to turn into a regional war that would also include Syria. He stated that the greatest obstacle to Syria achieving stability is the terrorist elements that threaten the territorial integrity and unity of Syria.

PRIORITY IS CEASEFIRE

In his speech, Erdoğan also conveyed his condolences for the Palestinians who lost their lives due to Israel's attacks. Erdoğan said, "Our priority is the immediate declaration of a permanent ceasefire and the ensuring of an uninterrupted flow of humanitarian aid."
