AKP preparations for the 4th Extraordinary Congress are complete. The congress will feature the election of the party chairman, the renewal of the party leadership, and the main theme will be "Century of Turkey."

At the upcoming congress, the sole candidate for AKP chairman will be President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan

A-TEAM TO SEE MAJOR CHANGES

A major change is expected in the 75-member Central Decision and Administrative Board (MKYK). The Central Executive Board (MYK), meaning the deputy chairmen, will be determined from among these 75 people.

According to a report on NTV; Secretary-General Fatih Şahin has contacted and informed the individuals who will be included in the main and reserve lists for the party administration.

AKP Deputy Chairman Erkan Kandemir, in his statement regarding the congress, said, "Congresses are the largest organizations of political parties. We see the congress as an opportunity to review ourselves and determine our vision."

LOCAL ELECTION KICK-OFF

The AKP congress will also serve as the kick-off for the local elections. AKP Deputy Chairman Hamza Dağ stated, "When you look at the congresses of rival political parties, you see the difference. I had already started working in May. With the congress, we are also giving the start for the local elections."

Foreign representatives will also be present at the congress, where up to 100 thousand party members are expected to attend.

The AKP's 4th Extraordinary Congress is expected to be attended by political party representatives from 27 countries, 127 ambassadors, and 3 Presidents.

The congress at the Ankara Sports Hall will begin with the arrival of AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan at the venue.

MESSAGES ON LOCAL ELECTIONS AND THE ECONOMY EXPECTED

Erdoğan will first address those outside the hall before proceeding to his congress speech. In his speech, Erdoğan is expected to emphasize a new constitution and the fight against terrorism, as well as deliver messages regarding the local elections and the economy.
