Erdoğan's chief advisor Oktay Saral hurls insults at Ekrem İmamoğlu

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu answered questions from journalists on Sözcü TV.

Making statements regarding the current agenda, İmamoğlu criticized the government's urban transformation policy.

When İmamoğlu made criticisms directed at TOKİ President Ömer Bulut, moderator Senem Toluay Ilgaz stated that Bulut wanted to connect to the program.

Ilgaz said, "Now I have to make a broadcaster's note. Our format for these special broadcasts was not suitable for this. TOKİ President Mr. Ömer Bulut wanted to join the broadcast. However, not on this broadcast, but Sözcü TV's door is always open to him."

İMAMOĞLU'S REACTION TO THE MODERATOR

İmamoğlu reacted to this announcement by Ilgaz with the words, "Ms. Senem, excuse me. I don't know what the TOKİ President means to you, but if he wants, he can sit down and talk with the KİPTAŞ General Manager one day. You are repeating it for the second time. The person who will talk to the Istanbul Mayor or the Istanbul Mayoral Candidate tomorrow is not him. He is trying to gain leverage through you. Let him mind his own business. He will get his answer somewhere tomorrow. Let him do his job, let him mind his own business. I think you made a wrong announcement, let me say that too."

INSULT FROM SARAL TO İMAMOĞLU

Presidential Chief Advisor and Member of the Presidential Local Government Policies Board Oktay Saral responded to these words of İmamoğlu with insults.

In the post he made on his social media account, Saral hurled insults at Ekrem İmamoğlu, saying, "You are neither a counterpart to the TOKİ President nor fit to be his fingernail... You monument of arrogance, you dwarf, you narrow-minded person, you disgrace to Trabzon!"
