Erdoğan's message on change and the People's Alliance! 'According to someone else's direction...'

In the AKP, which suffered a defeat in the March 31 Local Elections, there is curious anticipation regarding how the winds of 'change' will blow.

According to a report in the Türkiye newspaper, known for its proximity to the government; AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan evaluated the discussions on change that have come to the public agenda during his party's consultation meeting.

It was learned that Erdoğan said at the consultation meeting where election results were evaluated: "The future of this cause and our party is more important than the future of all of us, including myself. None of us can put our own future ahead of the party's future. We will act according to what the nation's expectations are."

"IT WILL BE ON THE SCHEDULE WE DETERMINE"

Stating, "Currently, many discussions are being held regarding the election results," Erdoğan said the following:

"There are also expectations for change. But if we are going to make a change, this change will be on the terms and schedule we determine. We will not act according to the direction of others. While these discussions are taking place, we will not fall into discord. We will not let sedition and corruption enter between us. We are all members of this cause. Do not speak through the media and behave in a way that accuses one another."

Erdoğan continued as follows:

"The election results are, in a sense, the surfacing of accumulated problems. To solve these problems, we must make the correct diagnosis. We will act with the principle that 'diagnosis is half the treatment.' We will make our findings accordingly. We will act sensitively and meticulously."

'PEOPLE'S ALLIANCE' STATEMENT

Addressing the rumors that "there is trouble within the People's Alliance," Erdoğan said, "In recent days, a perception is being created as if there is a problem within the People's Alliance. There is no problem in the People's Alliance. We confirmed this once again in our meeting with Mr. Bahçeli."
