Arguing that those who criticize the nullity decision are being prevented from engaging in politics within the party, names from the Özel wing assessed the situation as follows: "There is no criterion for these expulsions. Even if we accept that they are expelling people whose names are mentioned in lawsuits, they are also disciplining people who say they do not recognize the nullity administration. They are acting out of spite, which is why they are even carrying out dismissals. They are removing elected provincial administrations that have no lawsuits regarding their congresses without any justification. The current administration has no concern for producing politics or making the CHP the ruling party. Their only desire is to consolidate their intra-party power, and they are making expulsions for this purpose.
