Local election message from Fatih Erbakan: 'We will blow the ballot boxes away'

The New Welfare Party (YRP) held an Istanbul candidate introduction meeting at the Lütfi Kırdar International Convention and Exhibition Center.

"WE WILL EXPERIENCE A HISTORIC VICTORY AFTER 30 YEARS"

New Welfare Party Chairman Fatih Erbakan stated the following in his speech there:

"As Turkey's fastest-growing political party, we will blow the ballot boxes away on March 31. 30 years after our historic victory in 1994, we will experience a historic victory in 2024. The New Welfare Party coming to power in local governments on March 31 is very important for two reasons. First, we will reunite our nation with ethical and National View (Milli Görüş) municipalism, and we will save our nation, which is tired of rent-seeking, organized, and statue-focused municipalism. The second importance is that the explosion of votes for our New Welfare Party in the March 31 elections will pave the way for the New Welfare's power in 2028, and it is coming from there."

MINIMUM WAGE PROMISE

Erbakan noted that they would start implementing a fair order locally first, and that as of April 1, they would set the salaries of municipal employees working for minimum wage at 25 thousand liras. Candidates
