Fatih Erbakan: We will be in power in 2028

New Welfare Party (YRP) Chairman Fatih Erbakan attended the opening of an Election Coordination Center (SKM) in the Çarşamba district of Samsun.

Following the opening, Erbakan made statements regarding the upcoming local elections and requested support for his party in the local elections to be held on March 31, 2024, in order to revive the spirit of 1994.

"We are not moving forward with the polishing of newspapers and television stations," Erbakan said, adding, "We are not moving forward by receiving trillions of liras in treasury aid. We are not moving forward with the power of the government. We are not moving forward with the support of foreign powers."

"WE WILL BE IN POWER IN THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT IN 2028"

Stating that his party is the fastest-growing political party in Turkey, Erbakan continued his words as follows;

"As the fastest-growing political party in Turkey, the YRP is preparing to leave its mark on the March 31 elections. We hear the footsteps of the New Welfare's power in local governments. The New Welfare Party is marching toward power step by step. God willing, we will first take power in local governments on March 31, and then we will be in power in the central government in 2028.

The YRP coming to power on March 31 is important for ethical municipalism to prevail. Ethical municipalism means justice above all else. Ethical municipalism means compassion. It means showing compassion even to those who did not vote for you. Ethical municipalism means merit. Ethical municipalism means abundance.

All municipalities are in a debt trap. Ethical municipalism means a balanced budget. It means no debt and no interest. Service to the people is service to God. God willing, starting from April 1, we will put an end to rent-seeking municipalism, statue-focused municipalism, and organization-focused municipalism together with our nation, and we will begin the task of ethical municipalism."
