Ferdi Zeyrek's body retrieved from hospital: Mother falls ill

Ferdi Zeyrek's body retrieved from hospital: Mother falls ill

Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek had been critically injured in an electrical accident and was receiving treatment at Manisa Celal Bayar University Hafsa Sultan Hospital.

However, despite all interventions by doctors, Zeyrek passed away yesterday. Mayor Zeyrek's body was retrieved from the hospital morgue this morning.

MOTHER GÜLTEN ZEYREK FELL ILL AT THE HOSPITAL

Gülten Zeyrek, who experienced great distress following her son's accident, had fallen ill immediately after the incident and was admitted to the Cardiology Department of Manisa Celal Bayar University Hospital for treatment.

It was reported that her health condition worsened further after receiving the news of her son Ferdi Zeyrek's passing. It was learned that Gülten Zeyrek received emergency medical intervention from doctors and that her treatment is ongoing.

A funeral ceremony for Ferdi Zeyrek will be held today (Tuesday, June 10) at 11:00 AM in front of the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality building. Following the ceremony, his funeral will be held at Hatuniye Mosque after the noon prayer.
