First statement from Kılıçdaroğlu after the party congress: 'My morale is quite good. These are now behind us'
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who lost his chairmanship at the 38th Ordinary Congress of the Republican People's Party (CHP), has made his first statement following the congress.
Former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu made his first statement after the congress to tv100.com columnist Barış Yarkadaş.
Kılıçdaroğlu stated, ''My morale is quite good. It is natural for various debates to occur at a congress. However, these are now behind us. I wish success to all our friends who have been newly elected to office, including Özgür Özel,'' he said.

Kılıçdaroğlu spoke as follows in his first statement after the congress:
“My morale is quite good… I convey my greetings and love to everyone. Throughout the day, we met with friends and party members who came to visit, and we evaluated the process. The only institution in Turkey where democracy functions is the CHP. All institutions should take the democracy within the CHP as an example. It is natural for various debates to occur at a congress. However, these are now behind us. I wish success to all our friends who have been newly elected to office, starting with our chairman Özgür Özel.”
