Flags hung on municipal buses before Erdoğan's Trabzon rally: Trabzon Municipality launches investigation
An investigation has been launched by TULAŞ after AKP and MHP flags were hung on municipal buses in Trabzon ahead of President Erdoğan's visit.
The hanging of AKP and MHP flags on municipal buses in Trabzon ahead of a program to be attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has sparked public debate. Following this, Ulaşım A.Ş. (TULAŞ), a subsidiary of the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality, announced that it has launched an investigation into the matter.
In a statement issued by TULAŞ, it was noted that there were no disruptions to public transportation services during the process in which the flags were hung. It was emphasized that the services scheduled for Sunday were carried out in full and that there was no change in the transportation schedule.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES AND INVESTIGATION
It was stated that additional services were organized to facilitate transportation for citizens attending the Science Festival held in the city on the same day. It was also noted that vehicles not normally used on Sundays were assigned for the opening program attended by President Erdoğan.
Following images that appeared on social media and some news platforms, it was announced that the necessary examination and administrative investigation regarding the flags hung on the municipal buses have been initiated.
