Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan's diplomatic contacts continue
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, who is in Doha to attend the Organization of Islamic Cooperation-Arab League Extraordinary Joint Summit Foreign Ministers' Meeting, held separate bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Qatar, Egypt, Iraq, and Pakistan.
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan attended the Organization of Islamic Cooperation-Arab League Extraordinary Joint Summit Foreign Ministers' Meeting held in Doha, the capital of Qatar. Following the meeting, Fidan held bilateral talks with the Foreign Ministers of Qatar, Egypt, Iraq, and Pakistan. The agenda of the meetings focused on regional developments and opportunities for cooperation.
After the meeting in Doha, Fidan met with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. During this meeting, a comprehensive assessment was made regarding bilateral relations, regional issues, and particularly developments in the Middle East.
MEETINGS WITH EGYPT AND IRAQ
Foreign Minister Fidan also held a meeting with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty. During the meeting, issues concerning strengthening cooperation between the two countries and increasing mutual coordination on regional problems were discussed.
Fidan also held a separate meeting with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein. In the meeting, which focused on Iraq's security situation and regional relations, topics of strategic cooperation between Turkey and Iraq were addressed.
BILATERAL MEETING WITH PAKISTAN
Minister Fidan also held a meeting with Pakistani Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar. During the meeting, views were exchanged on the development of Pakistan-Turkey relations and the strengthening of economic and commercial ties between the two countries.
