'Free and independent' shock: How many votes did the IYI Party lose compared to the May elections?

According to the report in Cumhuriyet, the IYI Party, which saw 9.9 percent by receiving 5 million 210 thousand votes in the May 14 General Elections, received 2 million 100 thousand votes in these elections, suffering a loss of 3 million 110 thousand votes.

The party, which received 828 thousand 382 votes in Istanbul in 2023, received 129 thousand 564 votes in the local elections, losing 698 thousand 818 votes there.

The votes received in Ankara fell from 503 thousand 806 to 94 thousand 964. The vote loss there was 408 thousand 842. A loss of 170 thousand 687 votes was experienced in Bursa and 103 thousand 149 in Antalya. In Balıkesir, where the party received its highest vote in the 2019 local elections, 88 thousand 918 votes were lost in 1 year.
