Funeral ceremony held at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for late former AKP deputy
A funeral ceremony was held at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) for former AKP Giresun Deputy Cemal Öztürk, who passed away at the age of 67 at the hospital where he was receiving treatment in Ankara.
A funeral ceremony was held at the TBMM for Cemal Öztürk, a deputy for Giresun during the 26th and 27th legislative terms, who passed away at Bilkent City Hospital in Ankara where he was receiving treatment. For the first time, a funeral prayer was held at the mosque within the TBMM complex for a deputy.

Following this, a ceremony was held in front of the TBMM Honor Gate stairs. The ceremony was attended by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kaçır, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, AKP Group Chairman Abdullah Güler, AKP Group Deputy Chairman Abdulhamit Gül, former TBMM Speakers Cemil Çiçek and İsmet Yılmaz, as well as numerous deputies and parliamentary staff.
