Ankara corridors are buzzing with this claim: Activity for 360 deputies on the ruling front... Allegations of deputy transfers from CHP to AKP
The AKP's political maneuvers following its congress continue to be a subject of debate. While transfers from the IYI Party and the Future Party have sparked reactions, it is now claimed that the AKP is working to secure deputy transfers from the CHP. Journalist Özlem Gürses stated that persuasion efforts have gained momentum in the corridors. Here are the latest developments regarding deputy transfers...
Political transfers remain on the agenda following the AKP's grand congress. The joining of some figures from the IYI Party and the Future Party to the AKP had caused reactions within the opposition.
However, the discussions did not stop there. Journalist Özlem Gürses claimed that the AKP has now begun efforts to transfer deputies from within the CHP.
IS THE AKP PREPARING FOR DEPUTY TRANSFERS FROM THE CHP?
Speaking on the Para Politika program broadcast on TV100, Gürses suggested that the AKP is conducting a comprehensive process for deputy transfers and has established contact with some names from the CHP. Gürses' statements are as follows:
"The sources I spoke with in Ankara said something very strange. They said, 'Be prepared for deputy transfers from within the CHP as well.' It is stated that the AKP has been working on this issue for a long time, conducting bilateral meetings, and that persuasion efforts are ongoing."
PREPARATION FOR AN EARLY ELECTION?
Özlem Gürses emphasized that early election discussions could also be one of the reasons behind these transfer moves by the AKP. Drawing attention to calculations in the Ankara corridors, Gürses used the following expressions:
"The AKP, MHP, HÜDA PAR, and DSP have a total of 328 deputies. 360 votes are needed for an early election decision to pass through Parliament. For this reason, the ruling power is trying to complete the missing 32 deputies through transfers."
While the opposition calls for an early election, the AKP camp emphasizes "not an early election, but an advanced election." According to the corridors, this calendar points to the autumn of 2026 or 2027.
IYI PARTY AND YENI YOL ARE ALSO BEING MONITORED
It is alleged that the AKP is meeting with some deputies not only from the CHP but also from the IYI Party.
According to the information provided by Gürses, the joining of some names from within the IYI Party to the AKP is on the agenda. Furthermore, it is stated that the 24 deputies gathered under the roof of the Yeni Yol, which was established in recent months, are also closely following the process.
