Another blow to Erdoğan from Mansur Yavaş: The gap is growing every day!

CHP's presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is currently imprisoned in Silivri Prison, had taken the lead in the July poll by ALF Research announced recently, finishing 4 points ahead of Erdoğan.

Survey participants were asked the question, "If the presidential election were held this Sunday, which of these two candidates would you vote for?"

This time, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş was placed in the race against President Erdoğan.

The new poll conducted by the Özdemir Research Company has stirred up the political agenda once again. The survey was carried out between July 7–11, 2025, with 2,000 people via telephone and face-to-face interviews.

YAVAŞ LEADS BY NEARLY 5 POINTS

According to the results of the poll, Mansur Yavaş took the lead against President Erdoğan with 52.6% support. Erdoğan's vote share remained at 47.3%. The gap between them was recorded at 5.3 points.

Looking at the results of two separate studies for July, both of the CHP's potential presidential candidates have gained an advantage over Erdoğan. The gap was 4 points in the poll conducted with the imprisoned İmamoğlu, and 5.3 points in the poll conducted with Mansur Yavaş.
