Asal Research shares latest poll results... The tide has turned: Undecided voters leave their mark on the survey
In the survey conducted by ASAL Research in June, the voting rate of undecided voters drew attention. According to the survey results, the gap between the AKP and the CHP is closing. Here are the survey results.
ASAL Research has published a new public opinion poll revealing the current vote shares of political parties in Turkey. The survey, conducted between June 12-21, 2025, with 2,012 participants across 26 provinces, revealed that a significant portion of the electorate is undecided, while showing that the competition between the AKP and the CHP remains neck-and-neck.
In the survey, participants were asked, "If there were a parliamentary general election this Sunday, which political party would you vote for?" 27.5% of voters responded to this question with answers such as "I am undecided," "I will not vote," or "I have no opinion."
According to the raw data, the AKP remained at 23% and the CHP at 22.2%. However, when the undecided voters and those who said they would not vote were distributed proportionally, the estimated vote shares reached by the parties were as follows:
AKP: 31.7%
CHP: 30.6%
MHP: 10.2%
DEM Party: 9.5%
İYİ Party: 4.4%
Zafer Party: 3.9%
New Welfare Party: 3.4%
Workers' Party of Turkey: 1.5%
Anahtar Party: 1.3%
Other: 3.5%
