President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the closing program of the AK Youth Consultation Camp organized by the AK Party Youth Branches.

Addressing the youth, Erdoğan called for safeguarding the trust, saying, "You will not embarrass us before our nation. You will not disappoint the millions who pin their hopes on you. You will continue to be an example to the youth of the world."

BE UNIFIERS, NOT DIVIDERS

Emphasizing the importance of a unifying language in politics, Erdoğan stated, "Do not forget, you will work with an understanding that unites rather than divides, embraces rather than alienates, and brings together rather than polarizes."

Claiming that the AK Party Youth Branches are Turkey's most organized and active youth structure, Erdoğan said, "The political address of the youth is undoubtedly the AK Party. We buried our rival, whom they pampered as the 'democratic uncle' of the youth, at the ballot box with the support of our youth. In just three months, 130 thousand new members have joined our family."

'THERE WILL BE THOSE JOINING OUR PARTY'

Emphasizing that additions to the AK Party continue, Erdoğan said, "Despite all kinds of perception operations, we are expanding our ranks. Our family is growing and strengthening with new additions. There will be additions to our party tomorrow. We will continue on our path by growing stronger."

It had been alleged that CHP's Aydın Metropolitan Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu would resign from her party and join the AKP. Erdoğan's message that there will be new additions is being interpreted in this direction.

President Erdoğan stated that the youth are the guarantee of both the country and the party, saying, "I take pride in running toward the same horizon with my young friends. I trust you. I wholeheartedly believe that you will safeguard the nation's trust and raise the banner you will receive from us even higher."
