Bülent Arınç says Israel is the country that profited most in Syria: He pointed to Ahmet Davutoğlu

Bülent Arınç, one of the founders of the AKP and a former Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), made statements regarding the current agenda on Ekol TV. Speaking about the latest developments in Syria, Arınç stated that someone with influence should be sent to Syria and noted the following:

"Turkey must show in some way that it is at the table and must play a leading role in this new structure in Syria. I do not anticipate that they would say no to this. Because America has been there for almost 10 years. Where will we be? In the 30 km area we have controlled for a long time? What kind of regime will be established there?

It may not be right or even possible to go there these days, but someone who knows this business well—I know this because I served as a minister during the same period as Mr. Davutoğlu—Mr. Davutoğlu would count for us step by step who lives in which village in Syria, what the demographic and ethnic structure is in which town, and what their cultures are.

Now we need people who know Syria closely, both in the field of politics and in the field of traditional culture, and who understand what kind of structure can be successful there from now on; we need people who can manage this on behalf of Turkey under the instructions of our President.

Sometimes it could be an artist, sometimes a writer. Sometimes it could be someone whom the other side might also think highly of and accept regarding Syria. As long as their word carries weight. We need to send this person there as soon as possible."

'ISRAEL IS THE BIGGEST WINNER IN SYRIA'

While expressing that Israel is the biggest winner in the new era in Syria, Arınç said the following:

"The one that has emerged most profitably from what is happening in Syria is Israel. It has devastated Iran, it has left Gaza in ruins. Now it is leaving Syria in ruins. Russia is already unable to lift its head from its war with Ukraine. Iran is completely cowed, it is in no state to do anything."

"Israel is drawing a line that will come almost to the Turkish border in line with its own goals. Syria is very important, but this does not work by praying or wishing from the outside."
