Date set for cabinet reshuffle: Erdoğan is waiting for that day! 'The strongest possibility...'

Claims that President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will make changes to the cabinet following the Kartalkaya fire and the emergence of the Newborn Gang are gaining strength.

In political circles, it is being discussed that the change could be announced by being published in the Official Gazette on a Friday night before the grand congress on February 23.

CONGRESS PREPARATIONS IN THE AKP

The AKP has completed its congress process in 81 provinces. It was stated that 75% of provincial chairmen and 55% of district chairmen have changed during this process. Now, all eyes are on the grand congress to be held on February 23.

In party circles, it is being discussed that there could be a comprehensive change in the Central Decision and Executive Board (MKYK) list at the congress.

TGRT Ankara News Coordinator Ahmet Sözcan stated that the cabinet reshuffle could take place before the congress, saying, "According to the information provided by my source, we need to focus on the Official Gazette on Friday night. The strongest possibility for the cabinet reshuffle is Friday night."

TWO DIFFERENT SCENARIOS FOR CABINET RESHUFFLE

It was stated that there are two different views within the party regarding the change. While one segment argues that the change will happen before the congress, others suggest it could take place after the congress.

However, according to information coming from AKP circles, Erdoğan wants to complete the cabinet revision before the grand congress.

According to what Ahmet Sözcan conveyed, President Erdoğan is conducting the cabinet reshuffle process with a narrow circle and does not share his decisions until the last moment.

However, different estimates are being made regarding how many ministers the changes will cover. It is stated that at least three ministers could be dismissed, and the scope of the changes could be broader.
