Demand for early elections hits a record high: Economic bottleneck is affecting voters

SONAR Research President Hakan Bayrakçı stated that the demand for early elections has reached a level unseen in recent years, sharing this situation with the public.

Touching upon the effects of economic conditions on voters in particular, Bayrakçı said that interest in calls for early elections has increased. Bayrakçı remarked, "We have never seen anything like this before."

In his statement to Halk TV, Bayrakçı noted that economic difficulties have increased general public dissatisfaction, stating that this dissatisfaction has also triggered a tendency among government supporters to abstain from voting.

Bayrakçı also shared the results of the latest polls, presenting striking data on how voters evaluate the economic situation.

87 PERCENT FIND MINIMUM WAGE INSUFFICIENT

Bayrakçı also revealed striking data regarding the minimum wage: He made the assessment that "the rate of those who find the minimum wage insufficient is 87 percent." This rate was interpreted as an indicator that the vast majority of the public is facing economic hardships.

The rate of those who think the lowest pension should be increased exceeds 80 percent.
