The AKP has completed 64 provincial congresses ahead of its grand congress, and all eyes are now on the personnel changes that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will make at the grand congress to be held on February 23.

In party corridors, it is considered a certainty that the current administration will change significantly.

According to a report by the Türkiye newspaper, the new administration carries special importance as it will be the team that leads the AKP into the 2028 elections.

It is stated that while determining the names to be brought to the forefront, Erdoğan is paying attention to criteria such as regional balances, the representation ratio of women and youth, and the capacity to establish effective communication with citizens.

ERDOĞAN HAD GIVEN THE MESSAGE

President Erdoğan, at the provincial heads meeting held recently, drew attention to criticisms regarding the party administration and stated, "In recent days, we have been hearing complaints that we have not been able to establish sufficiently close and sincere relationships with different segments of the nation." These remarks are being evaluated as a harbinger of a comprehensive change at the congress.

It was stated that some figures within the AKP are conducting intense lobbying efforts to enter the party administration.
