Cabinet prediction from Fatih Altaylı... He pointed to that name: 'If he leaves, there will be early elections'

Journalist Fatih Altaylı, in a written statementsentto his YouTube channel,evaluatedthe claims of a cabinet revision that havecome back to the agenda in recent days.He evaluated them. 

Reminding that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan moved the cabinet meeting forward last week, Altaylı noted that expectations for a cabinet change have increased in the public eye.

However, stating that these discussions ignore the nature of the presidential system, Altaylı expressed that changing names carries no meaning.

Altaylı voiced his criticisms of the Presidential Government System with harsh expressions. He argued that the system leaves no authority to the ministers and that all power is concentrated in the President:

"Let everyone know that today there is no such thing as a minister. The people we call ministers are actually the President's secretaries. That is what it is called in the presidential system. What difference does it make if they change or not? They act as if something will change when a minister's name changes. I am laughing."

"IF MEHMET ŞİMŞEK LEAVES, A MAJOR CRISIS IS AT THE DOOR"

According to Altaylı, only one name change in the cabinet could lead to serious consequences. That name is Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek. Claiming that if Şimşek is removed from office, a major economic collapse and a possible early election await Turkey, Altaylı used the following expressions: 

"The only secretary whose change in the cabinet would lead to negative results is Mehmet Şimşek. If he changes, know that Turkey will be racing toward a full-blown economic disaster. And this is also a sign that an election is near."
