Asal Araştırma has shared the results of a survey conducted in December with 1,860 people. Participants were asked the question, "If there were a parliamentary election this Sunday, which party would you vote for?"

According to the survey, the rate of undecided voters is at a striking level of 30.4 percent. When undecided votes were distributed among the parties, it was observed that the gap between the AKP and the CHP was only 2 points.

The demographic data of the survey is as follows: 54.7 percent of the participants were male, and 45.3 percent were female. In the distribution by age groups, it was determined that 29 percent were in the 18-34 age range, 43.3 percent were in the 35-54 age range, and 27.7 percent were 55 years of age or older.

In the local elections on March 31, 2024, the CHP became the leading party for the first time since the 1977 local elections with a vote share of 37.81 percent and moved into a position of power at the local level.

While the CHP won the elections in 14 metropolitan municipalities, including the capital Ankara and the largest city Istanbul, the AKP remained in second place for the first time in its history with a vote share of 35.48 percent.
