Latest poll results released: Erdoğan continues to melt
In the latest poll regarding the presidential election, the vote percentages of two CHP metropolitan mayors against Erdoğan drew attention.
Ser-Ar Research Company shared the results of a survey conducted with 2,200 people in 26 provinces between December 2 and 7, 2024.
In the poll, which has a margin of error of 1.5, participants were presented with two different scenarios for the presidential election and asked to make a choice.
In the first scenario, the names of Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan were provided, and participants were asked, “If these were the candidates in the presidential election, which candidate would you vote for?”
47.9 percent of the participants stated that they would vote for Ekrem İmamoğlu.
The rate of those who stated they would vote for Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was 38.2 percent.
MANSUR YAVAŞ WINS BY A WIDE MARGIN
In the second scenario, participants were asked to choose between Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş and President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, with the question: “If these were the candidates in the presidential election, which candidate would you vote for?”
While 52.2 percent of those who participated in the poll chose Mansur Yavaş, the rate of those who stated they would vote for Recep Tayyip Erdoğan remained at 34.4 percent.
