New claim in CHP corridors: Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's A-team is ready
It is stated that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who returned to the post of CHP Chairman by court order, has accelerated party work during the Eid al-Adha period, while claims regarding a new Central Executive Board (MYK) structure, job offers to some deputies, and the potential suspension of memberships have come to the fore in party corridors.
Following the developments in the CHP after the court process, eyes have turned once again to the party leadership.
It was stated that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was reinstated as CHP Chairman by court order, will celebrate the holiday with party members and citizens at the CHP Headquarters on the fourth day of Eid al-Adha.
While it was stated that Kılıçdaroğlu would go to the headquarters on Saturday, May 30, to meet with party members, it was reported that the program date was changed due to inter-party holiday celebrations.
It is also being discussed among party sources that Kılıçdaroğlu is expected to make a speech during the holiday celebration program.
CLAIMS OF NEW MYK PREPARATIONS IN CHP
According to the behind-the-scenes information shared by Turan Yılmaz, it is alleged that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is conducting work to form the Central Executive Board (MYK) that will serve in the new term.
While it is claimed that contact has been made with some names for the new MYK, described within the party as the "A-Team," it was stated that some deputies did not accept the job offers.
It was also stated in the corridors that the establishment of an "Anti-Corruption Commission" within the party is on the agenda.
NAMES DISCUSSED FOR THE MYK
According to claims discussed in party corridors, it is alleged that names such as Bülent Kuşoğlu, Devrim Barış Çelik, and Faik Öztrak are among those who could take part in the new MYK that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu will form.
Furthermore, it was stated that the names of Mehmet Akif Hamzaçebi, Müslim Sarı, Orhan Sarıbal, Mehmet Tüm, and Deniz Demir are also being mentioned for the new MYK.
While it was stated that the names of Semra Dinçer and Neslihan Hancıoğlu, who served in the last MYK, are also being discussed for the new administration, it was reported that Semra Dinçer's post containing condemnation following the footage of the evacuation of the CHP Headquarters drew attention in the corridors.
While claims have emerged that the CHP Party Assembly will meet on June 1, no official statement has been made on the matter yet.
It is stated that the roadmap for the new term in the party administration could be shaped at this meeting.
“MEMBERSHIPS ON HOLD” CLAIM
TGRT Ankara Representative Fatih Atik also made evaluations regarding the CHP corridors.
Atik said it is being discussed that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu could use his authority to suspend the party memberships of some deputies.
In his statement, Fatih Atik said, "The Law on Political Parties gives incredible powers to chairmen. One of these is the suspension of membership. They said there is a possibility that Mr. Kemal will use this authority. There are 10 prominent deputies. He can suspend the membership of anyone he wants, including Özel. When membership is suspended, you cannot use any party authority."
“PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDACY OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED”
Fatih Atik also stated that it is being discussed that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu holds Özgür Özel responsible for the events that took place at the CHP Headquarters.
Atik said, "There is no election in the near future, and there is no one currently determined for the presidential candidacy. They will close the Presidential Candidacy Office."
