Following the statements made by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, all eyes have turned to when the third visit will take place in the Imralı process.

It is known that the Imralı delegation, consisting of DEM Party MPs Sırrı Süreyya Önder and Pervin Buldan, traveled to the Kurdistan Region of Iraq to provide information regarding the process and exchange views.

Following these visits, the delegation is expected to go to Imralı for a third time to meet with PKK terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan and relay information about the latest contacts.

VISIT MAY HAPPEN THIS WEEK

According to a report in Gazete Duvar, the Imralı delegation's third visit is anticipated to take place before the end of this week. It is stated that Sırrı Süreyya Önder and Pervin Buldan have completed their preparations for the trip to the island.

WILL AHMET TÜRK BE IN THE DELEGATION?

While claims emerged that Ahmet Türk would also be in the delegation, sources close to Türk denied this information.

It was reported that Ahmet Türk would not be part of the delegation due to health issues, and the claims that he would go to Imralı were rejected.

DEBATES OVER VIDEO MESSAGE CONTINUE

While the DEM Party leadership expects Abdullah Öcalan's call to the public to be via video, Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç's statement that it is "not in accordance with the legislation" has been criticized by party officials.

Party sources argued that the processes being carried out in Imralı are not being conducted within the framework of current legislation, suggesting that special authorization could be used for a video message.

Recalling video interviews conducted in prisons during the 1990s, DEM Party officials stated that a similar practice could be implemented in this process as well. Whether Öcalan will provide a video message remains uncertain.
