Özgür Özel's remarks to Burcu Köksal revealed: 'You'll see what happens then'

Allegations that Afyonkarahisar Mayor Burcu Köksal will switch to the AKP have caused a wide stir in the political agenda.

As the discussions continue, a WhatsApp message allegedly exchanged between CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and Burcu Köksal has also been brought to the public's attention.

Journalist Barış Yarkadaş made statements claiming that Burcu Köksal has decided to join the AKP.

Yarkadaş stated that Köksal told him, "Yes, I have made a decision. I am joining the AK Party at the Extended Provincial Chairmen's Meeting on Tuesday. There is no threat or pressure behind this decision. There is also no investigation against me."

"YOU WILL SEE YOUR DAY THEN" CLAIM

Following the allegations on the agenda, journalist Murat Kelkitlioğlu, speaking on TV100, claimed that CHP Chairman Özgür Özel sent a message to Burcu Köksal approximately 4 months ago.

Kelkitlioğlu claimed that in the message in question, Özel used the phrases, "I will come to power within 2 years, you will see your day then."

In the continuation of his statements, Murat Kelkitlioğlu also alleged that the message is being kept by Burcu Köksal.
