Poll results that will upset the AKP following İmamoğlu's imprisonment!

Following the detention of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu on March 19, polling companies have hit the field.

Journalist Ertuğrul Özkök, in his column where he stated, "I am now announcing the first poll results that have come in after March 19," said, "The Turkish public, just as in other events, was not convinced by this judicial attempt. Not convinced at all."

Carrying the polls that public opinion research companies have not yet shared with their subscribers into his column, Özkök noted the following:

DEMAND FOR EARLY ELECTIONS HAS INCREASED, ERDOĞAN'S POLICIES ARE NOT APPROVED

The AKP has declined by three points, those who do not approve of the President's policies have increased by four points, and those who want early elections have increased by five points.

I have the initial results from three separate polling companies in front of me.

The subscribers of these companies will receive the detailed results of these polls in the coming days.

One of them had gone into the field before the March 19 blow for its work this month, but specifically asked a single question regarding İmamoğlu's arrest between March 19-21, when İmamoğlu was detained.

Two of them were in the field between March 17-21.

I have not been able to fully learn the results of questions such as 'Who would you vote for today?' or 'Erdoğan or İmamoğlu?'.

I am providing the general results of the three, which are close to each other.

ONE; 60 percent of those who responded to the polls do not believe this is a legal decision. The rate of those who believe this arrest will benefit the CHP is higher.

TWO; A more distinct result is this: the 'rate of those who want early elections' has increased by five points after this blow, exceeding 60 percent for the first time.

The rate of those who do not approve of the President's policies has increased by four points after this event, exceeding 60 percent for the first time.

A result for which I have not yet learned the exact details is this:

The AKP, which had become the leading party by a very small margin in the last three months, has regressed after this event and, according to the company that conducted the poll, has fallen one to four points below the CHP.
