President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made significant assessments during the AKP Central Decision and Executive Board (MKYK) meeting. 

According to a report in the pro-government newspaper Türkiye Gazetesi, Erdoğan made a statement during the meeting regarding the developments within the CHP. Erdoğan stated, "We are following the developments in the CHP from the outside. It is an intra-party situation that has emerged within them. Our focus is on a 'terror-free Turkey' and the economy," indicating that his party's agenda lies elsewhere. 

Erdoğan emphasized that they are not concerned with the internal problems of the CHP.

Stating that Israel's aggression in the region is increasing, Erdoğan pointed out that the tensions in the region pose a direct threat to Turkey. In this context, Erdoğan said the following:

“We must be in closer contact with all stakeholders in the region regarding this issue.The treacherous attack in Qatar showedhow correct a step we took with the Steel Dome.All the hot tensions in our region concern us in some way and require us to take precautions. Our surroundings are surrounded by a ring of fire.This is clear andobvious.”President Erdoğan also touched upon the new resolution process and the ongoing judicial processes concerning the CHP during the meeting. However, stating that his party has a clear discourse on these issues, he noted the following: “Our focus is on the 'terror-free Turkey' process proceeding well and reaching success.We cannot allow a loss of focus during the process.The issue we are currently focused on is the economy and the fight against terrorism.We are determined to make progress on this matter.

Developments regarding the CHP are not on our agenda.”
