Sonar shares research results: A poll that gives Erdoğan pause! The public wants early elections

The results of the "Turkey's Preferences Survey" conducted by the Sonar Research Company have revealed that the public's concerns regarding the economic and political situation are steadily increasing.

The research revealed that society's distrust of the economic trajectory and the reaction to political developments are high.

When ranking Turkey's biggest problems according to the participants, 83.8 percent stated that the cost of living, problems in education, and poverty are among the primary issues. These data highlight the difficulties in the public's daily life and the challenges in meeting basic needs.

DEMAND FOR EARLY ELECTIONS IS RISING

The research showed that demands for early elections are increasing as a result of citizens' distrust of the government's economic policies.

57.8 percent of those who participated in the survey want early elections to be held. This rate indicates that, in addition to economic uncertainty, current policies are found to be insufficient by large segments of the public.

REACTION TO THE FAKE DIPLOMA INVESTIGATION

Furthermore, there is a significant reaction from participants regarding the fake diploma investigation targeting Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu. In the survey, the rate of those who find the investigation in question to be wrong was measured at 58.3 percent.
