Former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu received support from accounts close to the government after sharing a message on his X account regarding the PKK terrorist organization laying down its arms and the process for a Terror-Free Turkey on the occasion of Mother's Day.

'A HISTORIC STEP'

Describing the PKK terrorist organization laying down its arms without any conditions and dissolving itself as a 'historic step', Kılıçdaroğlu stated, "Today is a time for unity, not division; for reconciliation, not conflict."

While opposition accounts criticized this message from Kılıçdaroğlu, which received 1 million views on X, accounts close to the government expressed their support.

"I wholeheartedly celebrate Mother's Day for all mothers who selflessly raise children for our country, especially the precious mothers of our beloved martyrs.

On this meaningful day, I would like to express a truth: The terrorist organization that has been trying to make us enemies for years, and that has targeted the unity, integrity, and territorial wholeness of our country, has broken the hearts of all mothers, regardless of their origin.

For this reason, the terrorist organization laying down its arms without putting forward any conditions and dissolving itself will be a historic step for the protection of the Republic of Turkey's unshakeable unitary structure, the further strengthening of our society's bonds of brotherhood, and the establishment of lasting peace and tranquility in our country.

Turkey is a country that has a say, a stance, and the capacity to build the future in a vast geography extending not only within its own borders but from Cyprus to Syria, from the Eastern Mediterranean to the Balkans, and from the Caucasus to Europe.
