Surprise Gürsel Tekin rumor regarding Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu! He wants guarantees

The process of Gürsel Tekin's appointment as a trustee to the CHP İstanbul Provincial Presidency has caused tension in politics.

With the decision issued by the Istanbul 45th Civil Court of First Instance, CHP İstanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik and his committee were removed from office, and Gürsel Tekin and a 4-person trustee committee were appointed in their place.

ENTRY INTO THE CHP BUILDING AMIDST POLICE BLOCKADE AND TEAR GAS

Despite all the reactions, Tekin accepted the duty and entered the CHP İstanbul Provincial Presidency building on September 8, accompanied by a blockade of thousands of police officers and the use of tear gas. While this situation drew reactions from some figures within the party, it was also claimed that former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu was uncomfortable with it.

Journalist Mustafa Balbay stated that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu believes Gürsel Tekin did not manage the process correctly. Balbay alleged that Kılıçdaroğlu does not want to go to the Headquarters with police as was done in Istanbul, and that he is uncomfortable with the images caused by Tekin.

"GUARANTEE" CONDITION FROM KILIÇDAROĞLU

It is claimed that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has certain conditions for accepting the position if he accepts the 'absolute nullity' decision that may emerge at the CHP convention on September 15.

According to Balbay, Kılıçdaroğlu plans to stay permanently rather than for a short term, and is demanding guarantees for this. Kılıçdaroğlu also expressed that if he were to take office, he would not want to go to the Headquarters with police as was the case in Istanbul.

ALL EYES ON SEPTEMBER 15

The cancellation lawsuit regarding the 38th Ordinary Convention of the CHP will be heard on September 15. A possible 'absolute nullity' decision to be taken by the court could further shift the balances within the CHP.
