In the latest general election poll conducted in April, the CHP ranked first, 3.1 points ahead of the AKP, while the surge of the İYİ Party drew attention.
The results of the general election poll conducted in April have been released. According to the research carried out by the Sokağın Nabzı Research Company, the gap between the Republican People's Party (CHP) and the Justice and Development Party (AKP) was determined to be 3.1 points.
With these results, the CHP surpassed the AKP and maintained its leading position.
RISE IN THE İYİ PARTY
Another notable finding of the poll was the rise of the İYİ Party.
The İYİ Party settled into third place in the poll with a 9.2 percent vote share.
This result allowed the İYİ Party to move ahead of both the Peoples' Equality and Democracy (DEM) Party and the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP).
MHP'S VOTE SHARE IS BELOW THE THRESHOLD
One of the most striking points of the research was that the MHP remained below 5 percent, with a vote share of 4.3 percent.
The vote shares for other parties were listed as follows:
The Felicity Party (Saadet Partisi) received 3.6 percent, the New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) 2.7 percent, the Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP) 1.6 percent, the Key Party (Anahtar Parti) 1.4 percent, and the Victory Party (Zafer Partisi) 1.3 percent. The total for parties in the "Other" category was measured at 2 percent.
