Survey results for 26 provinces revealed: It fell below half a point
The latest election survey conducted by ORC Research in 26 provinces showed that the gap between CHP and AKP has fallen below half a point.
ORC Research shared the results of a survey conducted between January 27-29, 2026, with 2,200 participants across 26 provinces.
According to the survey results, the Republican People's Party (CHP) ranked first with 31.4 percent of the vote, while the Justice and Development Party (AKP) followed closely behind with 30.9 percent.
The fact that the gap between the two parties is less than half a point points to a major contest in the upcoming election.
According to the research results, the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) received 7.5 percent of the vote, while the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) followed the MHP with 7.2 percent.
The İYİ Party ranked in the list with 5.5 percent, while the Victory Party (Zafer Partisi) was at 3.8 percent and the Great Unity Party (BBP) at 3.1 percent.
The New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) received 2.7 percent of the vote.
Other smaller parties were ranked as follows:
The Local and National Party (Yerli ve Milli Parti) ranked with 2.2 percent, the Felicity Party (Saadet Partisi) with 1.9 percent, and the A Party with 1.4 percent, while the total vote share of other parties was recorded at 2.4 percent.
