CHP sources stated that Özarslan has not been answering his phone in recent days, noting that the secret negotiations he has been conducting with the AKP have been ongoing for 2-3 days.

It is alleged that as a result of these meetings, Özarslan agreed to join the AKP after receiving a guarantee that his corruption files would be closed.

It was stated that Özgür Özel met with Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş today regarding this matter. It was reported that Yavaş also possesses the same information.

It is stated that CHP Chairman Özgür Özel had previously met with Özarslan several times, but that Özarslan denied the allegations and claimed that everything was a lie.
