Transfer crisis in the AKP: 'There is deep discomfort within the party'

The rapid appointment of certain figures who resigned from different parties to join the AKP to high-level positions in the party management has created unrest within the party.

It was stated that some figures who have been involved in politics within the party for years have reacted to these new arrivals, with comments being made that "the pot is boiling in the AKP."

Nefes columnist Nuray Babacan used the phrase "the pot is boiling in the AKP" in her article evaluating recent developments.

Babacan stated that the fact that transferred figures were moved into the party management, and even to the headquarters, within 24 hours has caused great discomfort. She expressed that people who have been involved in politics within the party for many years have been left in a difficult position in the face of these rapid rises.

NO KURDISH REPRESENTATIVES LEFT

Drawing attention to the disruption of regional balances in the MKYK (Central Decision and Executive Board), Babacan reported that the number of those complaining that there are almost no Kurdish representatives left in the party management is increasing.

Furthermore, in her article titled "Transfer crisis in the AKP," she included comments that the reactions of those who have put in the effort within the party are intensifying and that a culture of transfers is being glorified.

It was stated that President Erdoğan is sending a message to those who want to join the party with these transfers, saying, "If you come, I will let you benefit from all kinds of government opportunities."

It is on the agenda that this attitude of Erdoğan is aimed at reaching the number of 360 in critical votes in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), and that negotiations for this figure are even continuing.

Another subject of criticism was the disruption of regional balances in the MKYK. The lack of representatives, especially from Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, has drawn reactions at a time when the opening process and messages to the Kurdish people should be provided.
