Wave of resignations in the ruling party front to grow: Warning came from the center, the next provinces are clear!

In the AKP, following the first wave of the dismissal process initiated through provincial chairs, it has begun to be discussed in political circles that the winds of change will continue. It is said that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is uncomfortable with the AKP organizations remaining passive in the field and the weakening of ties with the public.

According to the report by Merve Kılıç from Cumhuriyet, Erdoğan, criticizing the insufficient performance of the organizations, decided that provincial chairs should be dismissed not through voluntary change, but through direct intervention by the headquarters.

RESIGNATIONS DIRECTED FROM HEADQUARTERS

It is stated that the resignations and changes of duty within the party were actually made mandatory by the headquarters. The resignations of the provincial chairs of Elazığ, Muğla, Adıyaman, Niğde, Bitlis, Çanakkale, Ordu, and Tunceli, which were previously announced as changes of duty, took place upon the direct instruction of the headquarters.

It is noted that the dismissal of these provincial chairs is due to Erdoğan's dissatisfaction with the performance of the organizations and that these changes are necessary in provinces seen as weak links within the scope of election preparations.

According to political insiders, this process will not be limited to the first wave, and it is reported that more provincial chairs will be replaced in the coming weeks.

It is stated that Erdoğan, uncomfortable with the relationships established with local administrations and the visibility of the organizations in the field, will accelerate these changes in order to increase dynamism within the party.

NEXT PROVINCES BEING DISCUSSED

It is stated that organizations in major cities such as Ankara, İzmir, and Adana have also received warnings. Furthermore, it is being discussed that a few provincial chairs in the Black Sea and Central Anatolia regions may be forced to leave their posts. Concerns that the dismissals could create unrest within the party have also increased.

Two different views regarding the dismissals within the party are drawing attention. While one group supports the change by arguing that renewal is inevitable, the other group carries the concern that such practices could create resentment in the party base. Some provincial chairs who have been in office for a long time criticize that "their efforts are being ignored." Some party strategists warn, "While trying to strengthen the organizations, we may increase resentment within."
