Why did Bahçeli call Özgür Özel 'the chairman of a political institution'? Is it the effect of a power struggle within the ruling coalition?

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel was attacked immediately after the funeral ceremony of Sırrı Süreyya Önder, who passed away recently. It was determined that the person who attacked Özel had previously killed his two children and had a criminal record for various offenses.

Following the attack on CHP leader Özel, messages of condemnation came one after another from politicians.

However, the most striking among these messages was the post by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli. It was widely discussed that Bahçeli, in the message he published, did not mention Özgür Özel by name and instead used the phrase 'the Chairman of a political institution'.

Why did Bahçeli not mention the CHP chairman?

This question inevitably raised the question in my mind, "Who writes Bahçeli's statements?"

Because the Bahçeli we know and recognize would not make such a statement.

This statement seems like the product of a conflict within the ruling power.

It is said that there are groups within the AKP that are squabbling and engaged in a power struggle.

With this statement, Bahçeli is acting almost like "one side."

While AKP ministers and executives, led by Erdoğan, condemned the attack, Bahçeli, while condemning it, took a different stance by not mentioning the name of the person who was attacked. Is Bahçeli trying to say, "If it is the CHP, I am not of the same opinion as you; if you want to cooperate with the CHP, I am out," or are those who conduct politics through Bahçeli trying to send the message, "Do not trust the DEM too much, the MHP support could be cut off at any moment"?

Can Ataklı also asked why the funeral of the late Sırrı Süreyya Önder was not held in Parliament. Ataklı stated in his article, "If a ceremony had been held in Parliament, the coffin would have been carried by soldiers for a while; were they afraid of this?"
