I am conveying the thanks of my husband, Tayfun Kahraman—whose membership card could not be delivered to him due to the unlawful detention he is subjected to—to the CHP Beşiktaş District Organization of which he is a member, to Istanbul Provincial Chairman @ozgurcelikchp, and of course to the Chairman… pic.twitter.com/lv1zmP5ECm
Kahraman reported that her husband expressed his gratitude to the CHP Beşiktaş District Organization, of which he is a member, to Istanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik, and to CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, as well as to his party colleagues who kept his party membership card safe until he is released.
Tayfun Kahraman's wife, Meriç Kahraman, also stated: "For Tayfun to reunite with us, his family, his colleagues, his students, and his freedom as soon as possible, the injustices and unfairness we are experiencing as a country must come to an end. We are waiting for our application, which has been pending before the Constitutional Court for a long time, to be examined and for our right to a fair trial to be granted."
