Gökhan Zan hits back at Melih Gökçek: 'A corrupt politician in a righteous country'

Former national footballer Gökhan Zan had previously reacted to officials arriving at a memorial ceremony in Hatay, saying, "You abandoned us to death for 3 days, we do not want you here."

AKP member Melih Gökçek quoted the video in which Zan expressed his reaction and posted, "You should have been an actor instead of a footballer." In response to Gökçek, Zan said, "You are a pathetic jellybean salesman who has betrayed his own people, been declared a traitor by his own party, ignored at funerals by those you once dined with, and a mafia-like figure who has seized state property."

I am a former NATIONAL FOOTBALLER who loves his country, his homeland, Hatay, and its people.

To remedy your ignorance, I am telling you: I am not an ACTOR!

I am one of the athletes who played for Turkey's biggest clubs, having fought to be useful to my homeland and provide added value to my country by performing my football with my own sweat, honor, and integrity.

There were times I went hungry, times I was left in the bitter cold; I lived my life with honor while struggling in poverty with my family of 9. I reached this day without letting them go without dry bread. But I never violated anyone's RIGHTS by selling RELIGION.

As for you, you are a pathetic jellybean salesman who has betrayed his own people, been declared a traitor by his own party, ignored at funerals by those you once dined with, and a MAFIA-LIKE figure who has seized state property.

In my eyes, you are a species of creature that has no value, not even a penny, has crossed the threshold of shame, and is a shameless entity in politics.

As a political parasite who lacks the courage to even open comments out of fear, cannot distinguish between reality and fantasy, and feeds on discord and mischief, perhaps you should show some SHAME and go play with your DINOSAURS?

Since I know that medicine will be helpless against you, as you do not even possess average intelligence, my humble advice is that you repent and seek forgiveness from the nation without wasting our DOCTORS' time.

Because, just as you could not wash away the sins you committed PARCEL BY PARCEL and the curses you have earned even if you bathed in seven hammams, you could not even be a bad ACTOR on a film set...
