Warning from Gürsel Tekin: 'I will upset many of my friends'

Gürsel Tekin, who was appointed as the trustee to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency, made important statements regarding the recent debates and polemics on the agenda. Speaking in front of the office of CHP Chairman Özgür Özel in Sarıyer, Tekin said, "There is a building debate every day. If the suggestion is to constantly engage in polemics, I will upset many of our friends. I am not occupied with these decisions. The decision we have right now says 'do your duty.' Unless a contrary decision comes, we are subject to this decision."

"I FEEL AS IF WE ARE BREAKING UP A CONSPIRACY"

Tekin made striking remarks regarding the tensions within the party. "It seems to me that we are breaking up a major conspiracy. I look at the party deserters, Bahadır or whatever your name is," said Tekin, drawing attention to the debates within the CHP. "We, as CHP members, argue and compete with each other. Tomorrow, we will be together again," he said.

"WE WILL NOT BE DEFEATED BY THE AZİZ İHSANS"

Speaking about the criticisms made following the appointment of a trustee to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency, Tekin said, "We will not be defeated by the Aziz İhsans," and stated that the party will continue on its path strongly.

"I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE LIST, WE ARE HELPING PARTY WORKERS"

Gürsel Tekin said, "I have nothing to do with any list. I only called my friends. Our party workers cannot come to their duties. What do you want, brother? They provided a list to clean the building because our friends could not come.":

"WE ARE CHILDREN OF THE SAME FAMILY, THERE IS NO PROBLEM"

Finally, despite the tensions, Tekin gave a message of unity. "We are children of the same family. There is not the slightest problem. These buildings belong to all of us," he said.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The lawsuit for the cancellation of the CHP Istanbul Provincial Congress was rejected. The CHP's lawyer stated that the decision meant the trustee was cancelled. CHP lawyers stated that the 45th Civil Court of First Instance should lift the injunction.
