TENSE WAIT IN CHP
A critical decision for the future of the party is expected in the congress lawsuit to be heard on June 30.
It was stated that İmamoğlu told CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and Kılıçdaroğlu that they need to determine a common roadmap for the future of the party. İmamoğlu emphasized that they must act together during this process.
On the other hand, it was also alleged that Mansur Yavaş told Kılıçdaroğlu that the party should not be divided and that he would otherwise quit politics.
Journalist Murat Ağırel reported that Yavaş said, "The CHP needs unity, not division."
These debates within the CHP show that the party is at an important turning point regarding its future and the leadership struggle. The statements of İmamoğlu and Yavaş reveal the dimensions of the tension within the party.
