Has the İYİ Party completed its mission? Fatih Altaylı: 'The İYİ Party no longer exists!'

Journalist Fatih Altaylı shared his assessments on the current agenda on his YouTube channel.

Stating that the İYİ Party would not join the People's Alliance (Cumhur İttifakı), Altaylı said, "Their hearts may be there, and they might work for them, but they won't be there." 

"THE İYİ PARTY HAS COMPLETED ITS MISSION"

Altaylı's statements are as follows:

"There is no chance for a party called the İYİ Party to be resurrected. Müsavat Dervişoğlu is a gentleman, I have no objections to him, but being a gentleman is not a sufficient condition to be a good politician. 

I do not believe that the İYİ Party will go anywhere just because Müsavat Bey is there. The İYİ Party now appears to be a party destined to slowly melt away and disappear. 

Young politicians from this party and its organization are calling me and such. It's unnecessary now. There is no need for you to stay in this party. You could be in the CHP, or you could be in the Zafer Party; I think the İYİ Party has completed its mission.

"SOCIETY IS PUNISHING THE LAST ELECTION"

Meral Akşener is gone, and when you look at it in general, society is also punishing the last Presidential election. Politics is self-liquidating those who gifted a winnable election to the opponent. Why? Because it sees and knows that the AKP era is coming to an end and is preparing itself, and it is doing this in all areas of politics. As a reaction to the AKP remaining in power and continuing to implement wrong policies in Turkey at a time when it has become less embraced by society, it is also liquidating the others who caused this.

Who did it liquidate? It liquidated Kılıçdaroğlu, it liquidated Akşener. It liquidated the DEVA Party and the Future Party (Gelecek Partisi). These are finished now.

A new era is opening in Turkish politics. Will there be conservative parties in this new era? There will be. But not these. Will there be nationalist parties? There will be, but different ones. Perhaps Yavuz Ağıralioğlu's party will rise a bit. Perhaps the Zafer Party will get something from there. Some of this will pass to the center-right, or the center part will pass to the CHP, but the İYİ Party no longer exists."

"İNCE HAS QUIT POLITICS"

When asked, "How do you evaluate the Memleket Party?" Altaylı replied: "I think Muharrem Bey has quit politics. Because he talks, but he talks like former club presidents. 

He wants to say something, but it's not very consistent; he positioned himself in an unnecessary position and could not fill that position."
